Membership in the San Joaquin Valley Chapter (SJVC) of the SWA is an opportunity to become connected with the local art community of the region. Monthly meetings expand your creative horizons, inform and educate, through art process demonstrations, presentations and painter outings. Meetings are held at “The Door Art Gallery,” 3073 W. Bullard Ave, Fresno, CA 93711.
SJVC’s membership includes professional artists from multiple generations. Rub shoulders with this experienced, highly creative, talented group and become privy to industry stories, personal techniques and how they’ve achieved the triumphs and avoided the pitfalls inherent in the business of art.
Membership is $45 per year, but is prorated quarterly (see the application for details). In joining the San Joaquin Valley Chapter you become a member of the entire organization, which grants you the opportunity to not only participate in local membership exhibits, but also full membership exhibits held at our Bay Area “Art Center,” located in San Bruno, CA, SWA’s headquarters and home to the San Francisco Chapter.
Joining is as simple as printing or downloading the application provided by the link below, filling it out and mailing it, along with a personal check for the membership dues amount, to:
